dearest me,

first let me tell that i love you. unconditionally. and no matter what the next few months post-college hold i will continue to do so bc i have spent far too many years treating your poorly and discouraging you bc i was unaware of your power and your capabilities. however i see you much more clearly now and even if no one else agrees, i think you are worthy, talented and beautiful and i promise to never forsake you again. no failure of any size will change that.

everything that you have dreamed about, everything you deserve, everything that you are working towards will come to you in due time. God has placed in you precious gifts and talents and He will see to it that the gifts that he has placed in you receive a proper forum for sharing. the battle is not yours is it the Lord’s, so do not lose sight of your goals and do not confuse a setback with a defeat. consequently, do not confuse A defeat with a FINAL defeat either. nothing you are doing is in vain and though you have a long way you go, in many ways, the hardest parts are over. it’s all uphill from here.

i suggest you take time to congratulate yourself. last semester you said you would were going to find another job that pertained more to the entertainment industry. you did that. last semester you said you were going to make an album. and you did that too. every accomplishment no matter how small counts, because though it may not feel like it you are building. these are the things that you will look back on once you get to where you are and realize that these experiences and accomplishments set you up for the major ones.

So take it easy. youre doing enough. youre actually doing too much and more importantly your are doing all you can do. in spite of what life has been showing you, and the losses you have suffered, you are a winner. you are a winner. you are a winner. and no matter where you end up in the immediate future, you will do great things when the time is right.
